There has been talk about the Pharrell Williams and Moncler collaboration over the past few months and now we get a visual of the entire collection of jackets and vests. The line not only was designed by Pharrell but also features Bionic Yarn, another project that Pharrell is spearheading, which is a new fabric that is made from recycled plastic bottles. I love the fact he used his new fabric which makes this line green also. I really like the jackets but the vests aren't meant for real life. The print that is used on the jackets and vests comes courtesy of Japanese artist, Keita Sugiura. Awwww the leather jacket. I'm in the tri-state area,  and everyone knows this winter season has been very anti-leather. We haven't even considered purchasing a new leather item until now. The good folks over at Loopwheeler x Nike have put out a sweatshirt which is far left from all the other joint efforts Nike has done this season. Focusing more on quality fabric and small details they provided a great basic they you can wear running around the city or at the gym. I love how every walk in life is pulling together for the cause.

Haiti faced a natural disaster of unprecedented proportion, an earthquake unlike anything the country has ever experienced. The magnitude 7.0 earthquake - and several very strong aftershocks - struck only 10 miles from Port-au-Prince. Over 2 million people in Port-au-Prince faced this catastrophe alone and idle hands will only make this tragedy worse. Many people across the country have already started to contribute to the Haiti Relief Effort and Play Cloths must do its part as well. Sometimes it is very confusing when donating due to the high level of corruption within certain charities but in this instance we feel that WYCLEF JEAN is a man we can trust.

So starting today, Friday January 15th @ 3pm est, Play Cloths will release a signature Jack logo t-shirt designed for the Haiti Relief Effort. 100% OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED to the YELE HAITI EARTHQUAKE FUND (www.yele.org) which is an organization supported by WYCLEF. This year a competition was held to name the two pigs that have featured in their logo and been at the centre of their branding for 30 years. This model is dedicated to one of the pigs, named Clipper. It is a right hand twill 15oz denim that will fade beautifully. Blue selvedge.
